Astral Holds Distributor Seminar

Lynn, IN – Astral recently hosted an Astral Distributor Seminar, which took place October 4 – 6, 2009.  The event included a day of action-packed racing at the Winchester Speedway, the World’s Fastest ½ Mile Track.  Following a day of exciting racing, the group participated in a Texas Holdem’ Poker Tournament for prizes.  The educational portion of the seminar took place at Astral’s corporate facilities in Lynn, Indiana.  The group toured Astral’s manufacturing plant and became the first distributors to see several new products and marketing materials that were available for immediate distribution.  In addition, Alex Roberts, owner of Roberts Funeral Home of Wooster, Ohio addressed the group about his experiences in the funeral industry as well as how he merchandised with Astral caskets to save his business and his families money. The event wrapped up with a banquet dinner at the The Randolph Grille in Winchester.  Astral Distributor Sales Coordinator, Billy Emrick, stated, “Without our valued, family-owned, independent distributors, we could not be one of the leading manufacturers of 18 and 20 gauge steel caskets that we are today!  We owe a lot to our distributor customers for their loyalty and continued support of Astral products.”
